This is an indication of a bad humidity and temperature sensor. You can purchase a new sensor here: RH/T sensor Also it is recommended to replace the battery as well which you can get here: Battery

First let's go into diagnostic mode and record all the values that are displayed as these will get erased after the next few steps. Here is a video on how to do that: Diagnostics

1. Next remove the batteries from the back of the display.
2. Clean out the tray with Isopropyl Alcohol with the display unplugged.
3. Let it dry completely, give it adequate time.
4. Turn the display back on with batteries out.
5. Do a Factory Restore (MIN, SELECT, BAROMETER) one right after another.

If the display does not come back to life at this point, proceed to the next step.

You should be on the main screen with only dashes at this point.

1. Press MAX then SELECT
(Only Min and Max should be flashing in unison, everything else will be blank.)
2. Press HUMIDITY (You'll see the word "RUN")
3. Press SELECT (You will see two letter looking icons and a number in the third digit)
4. Press MIN until the number at the end reads 0
5. Press SELECT 3 times after that and you are done.

You will first need to create an account if you do not already have one. After you create an account, sign in. Click on your account name at the top of the page and select My Account. On the left of the screen, you will see Product Registration, select this option. Enter your purchase date, serial number and product name into the fields and then select Save.
