RainWise Inc. has announced the release of their next generation TeleMET II cellular telemetry unit, offering the ultimate flexibly for transmitting weather data from their MK-III and AgroMET lines of weather stations to rainwise.net online cloud portal from remote areas with cellular service. The TeleMET II also delivers RainWise weather station data to other portals serviced by RainwiseNet such as the Weather Underground PWS network. RainWise API’s are also available for easy integration of data into 3rd party sites.
The TeleMET II offers:
“The new TeleMET II further expands on the reach and usability of remotely collected weather data from our stations, using cutting edge cellular telemetry to deliver it to our cloud-based data portal, RainwiseNet. The 2nd generation TeleMET II is more flexible, smaller, and lower cost than its’ predecessor, and with GSM 3G and CDMA options the TeleMET II can be deployed in most countries around the globe. Easy to setup and use, the TeleMET II requires no static IP addresses or software, and due to the fact that the TeleMET II wirelessly connects to our weather station means that the two devices can be physically separated allowing for the best possible placement of the station for optimum measurement accuracy.”
